Sharon Brown, CFNP
Nurse Practitioner
Sharon has cared for women in the Jackson area for three decades and has been a valued member of the East Lakeland OB/GYN team since 1995. She earned her nursing degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she served as president of her senior class and was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society, and later completed her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Vanderbilt University. Sharon brings a strong clinical background in critical care and cardiology to her practice and has particular interests in adolescent care, menopause management, and bone health. She holds hospital privileges at Merit River Oaks Hospital and Merit Woman’s Hospital and is an active member of several professional nursing organizations. Outside of the office, Sharon enjoys paddle boarding, following SEC sports, reading, and spending time with her husband, three children, and church community.
